Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Tuesday urged newly recruited government employees to support the state’s fight against drugs and corruption.
While handing over appointment letters to 450 young people, the CM said that they are now part of the government and must take responsibility in tackling these serious issues.
He also shared that the Punjab government has given jobs to 54,142 people in the last three years. The latest group of recruits has been hired in departments like Housing, Agriculture, Water Resources, Sports and Youth Services, Local Government, Health, School Education, Water Supply, Sanitation, and Excise and Taxation.
CM Mann said the state has crossed the milestone of providing over 54,000 government jobs through a fair and transparent process.
