Hooda Slams BJP Government, Calls for Special Parliament Session on Pahalgam Attack and Ceasefire

Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has strongly criticized the BJP-led government, urging the Centre to convene a special session of Parliament to discuss the Pahalgam terror attack, Operation Sindoor, and the US-brokered ceasefire.

Hooda said the BJP’s third term had been just as disappointing as the previous two, claiming it had failed on every front. He highlighted several areas of concern, including the problems farmers faced during the harvest season due to delays in procurement and payments.

He also accused the BJP government of failing to secure Haryana’s share of river water from Punjab. Hooda said that during an all-party meeting, the Congress demanded a special session of the Haryana Assembly to put pressure on Punjab, but the BJP had been dragging its feet on the issue.

Referring to the state’s progress under his leadership, Hooda said Haryana had once topped in development and growth, but under the BJP, it now ranks number one in unemployment, crime, drug abuse, and poverty.
