Punjab Rural Development and Panchayat Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond today held a meeting through video conference with Deputy Commissioners of Districts, Additional Deputy Commissioner Development, District Development and Panchayat Officer, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad regarding the preparation of Gram Panchayat Elections.
During the meeting through video conferencing, Administrative Secretary Dilraj Singh has issued instructions to all the Deputy Commissioners of the state to complete the preparations for the elections. The Deputy Commissioners of the districts assured that they have completed the preparations for holding the Panchayat elections.
The meeting was attended by Joint Development Commissioner Amit Kumar, Director Rural Development and Panchayats Paramjit Singh, and Joint Director, Jitinder Singh Brar.
