Amarinder Singh Warns Pakistan After Indian Strikes on Terror Camps

Senior BJP leader and former Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh has warned Pakistan not to escalate the situation after India’s missile strikes on terror camps across the border. These strikes were carried out in response to the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, where 26 tourists were killed.

Speaking to media, Amarinder praised the Indian armed forces for their accurate and careful strikes on terrorist training camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir. He said no civilians or military targets were harmed, and the action was necessary due to Pakistan’s continued support of terrorism.

He strongly warned Pakistan not to try and increase tensions, saying it would only harm Pakistan itself. Amarinder also condemned Pakistan’s attack on civilians in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir, which caused several casualties.

He made it clear that India does not want war but will not let terror attacks go unpunished. According to him, one of the terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack admitted responsibility, although he escaped and lost several family members in the Indian strike.

Leader of the Opposition, Partap Singh Bajwa, also condemned Pakistan’s actions. He called the Pahalgam attack cowardly and praised Punjab’s long-standing bravery in defending India. He said Punjabis have always stood strong for the nation and warned Pakistan to stop its “treachery.”
