PM Modi Holds Important Security Meeting After Pahalgam Terror Attack

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is holding important meetings with top ministers at his home in Delhi on Wednesday. The meetings started at 11 am and are expected to continue for some time.

The Union Cabinet and the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) are discussing strong actions against Pakistan after the terror attack in Pahalgam on April 22.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman are attending the meeting. National Security Adviser Ajit Doval and other senior officials are also present.

The CCS is reviewing the actions already taken, such as cancelling visas for Pakistani citizens and suspending the Indus Waters Treaty. More steps may be announced soon.
