After the terror attack in Pahalgam on April 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made his first public statement on Thursday. He said that India will chase the attackers to the ends of the earth and give them a punishment they can’t even imagine.
Modi called the attack not only a crime against innocent tourists but also an attack on the soul of India. He promised that every person involved in the attack, including those who planned it, will be tracked and punished.
Speaking from Madhubani, Bihar, during a National Panchayati Raj Day event, Modi gave a strong warning to Pakistan. He said India’s spirit cannot be broken by terrorism and that the entire nation stands united against it. He also thanked world leaders and countries who supported India during this difficult time.
Modi said clearly that India has zero tolerance for terrorism and will do whatever is needed to protect the country and its people.
