Victims of Pahalgam Terror Attack Identified; 26 Dead, 17 Injured

Twenty-six people were killed and 17 others were injured in a terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, South Kashmir, on Tuesday. The attack targeted a group of tourists traveling in the area. Among the victims were 24 tourists from different Indian states, one person from Nepal, and one local resident from South Kashmir.

Officials have shared the names and home states of those who lost their lives. The victims came from Maharashtra, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Kerala, Karnataka, Haryana, Gujarat, Chandigarh, Andhra Pradesh, and Arunachal Pradesh.

  • Shubham Dwedi (Uttar Pradesh)

  • Prashant Kumar (Odisha)

  • Munish Ranjan (Bihar)

  • N Ramachandra (Kerala)

  • Sanjay Lakshman and Dileep Dasali (Mumbai)

  • J Sachandra (Visakhapatnam)

  • M Somissetty (Bangalore)

  • Manju Rao (Karnataka)

  • Bharat Bhushan (Bengaluru)

  • Santosh and Kasturba Ganvotay (Maharashtra)

  • Sumit, Yatish, and Shalieshbhai (Gujarat)

  • Tagehalying (Arunachal Pradesh), who worked with the Indian Air Force

The 17 people who were injured are currently being treated in nearby hospitals. Authorities have promised justice and a thorough investigation, while the entire country mourns this tragic loss.
