Russian President Vladimir Putin has agreed to visit India after an invitation from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov confirmed that preparations for the visit are underway.
Speaking at a conference, Lavrov mentioned that Modi’s first foreign trip after his re-election was to Russia, and now it is Russia’s turn to visit India.
However, the exact dates of Putin’s visit have not been announced yet.
