Eight people were injured, one of them seriously, when a speeding truck rammed into at least five vehicles at Shambhu on Friday. The seriously injured person was rushed to a hospital in Ambala for treatment.
Ravi Sharma, an occupant of one of the cars involved in the accident, described how a speeding truck came from behind and collided with the vehicles.
Punjab Police personnel, who were already at the scene clearing the Shambhu border, quickly arrived to assist the victims.
