5 rounds fired at gym owner in Mohali: Attackers seen fleeing on a bike in CCTV, also fired at a hotel in Chandigarh.


Around 4:50 AM on Thursday, unknown attackers on a bike fired five bullets at Vicky, the proprietor of a gym in Phase-2 of Mohali, Punjab. His legs were struck by four of the bullets.

He rode his bike to Indus Hospital with the gym trainer. He was referred to Chandigarh due to his severe condition. The family has claimed that a personal rivalry was the cause of the attack.

The sound of gunfire and the terrorists’ bike-riding escape are also captured on CCTV. The attackers reportedly opened fire on a Chandigarh hotel as well.

Outside the gym, Vicky was resting in his Baleno automobile when the attackers on a bike started shooting at him. The proprietor of the gym was shot in the legs. The police were notified right away by the Market Phase-2 watchman who was on the site. The case is being investigated by the Phase-1 police station’s officers.

What an eyewitness and the brother of the gym owner said:

The gym trainer called: According to Bunty, the brother of the gym owner, the gym trainer called him at 5:05 AM. According to the trainer, his brother had been carried to the hospital on a bike after something occurred to him. Bullets had struck his sibling.

“Our sister has nothing to do with this” : According to Bunty, his brother got a call that said, “We won’t spare you.” Everywhere they go, they are constantly fighting. He further said that two young males, Vikas and Suraj Bholu, who are presently incarcerated on a dacoity charge, had previously threatened them. They had also been threatened by their sister.

Vicky has been identified as the victim.

The assault happened at approximately 4:45 a.m.

According to Bunty, Vicky’s brother, the attack was the consequence of a feud with two people who are incarcerated, Vikas and Suraj Bholu.

The Phase-1 police station in Mohali is looking into the situation.

“They claim that we got them locked up. We’re not involved with them, by the way. We all reside in Chandigarh’s Sector 49.

“Attack from jail itself: Bunty said that during his incarceration, the accused had repeatedly threatened him. He declared that he would not spare him when he was released from prison for the death of his mother. We believe that he carried out the attack while incarcerated.
