4 Days of Government Holiday in Punjab: The Government announced; October 16 and 23 will be Restricted Holidays.

For the next festivities in Punjab, the government has declared holidays. There will be holidays for Diwali on October 20 and Vishwakarma Day on October 22 during this time.

However, on October 16, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur’s birthday; on October 22, Govardhan Puja; and on October 23, Gurgaddi Diwas (Enthronement Day) of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, a Restricted Holiday has been declared. Regular labour continues, and government offices are open on Restricted Holidays.Employees can only take a maximum of two Restricted Holidays in a year. Around 40 Restricted Holidays are available in total.
