31 Students Fall Sick After Eating Pani Puri in Maharashtra’s Nanded

In a suspected case of food poisoning, 31 students from three educational institutes in Nanded city, Maharashtra, were hospitalized early Thursday after eating pani puri (golgappa) from a roadside stall.

The students belong to Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, SGGS College, and a nursing college, according to officials.

They began arriving at Dr. Shankarrao Chavan Government Medical College and Hospital around 4 am, complaining of vomiting, nausea, and uneasiness.

Doctors conducted medical checks and admitted them for treatment. Hospital officials confirmed that all students are in stable condition.
