Salman Khan has officially completed shooting for his highly anticipated action thriller Sikandar. After finishing the last scene, the actor immediately shaved off his beard, which he had grown for the film’s role.
A source close to the production revealed that the final shoot took place in Bandra, where Salman and co-star Rashmika Mandanna filmed a patchwork sequence. After wrapping up around 8:30 pm, Salman decided to clean-shave his beard, as he prefers a clean-shaven look in real life.
The last part of the shoot was held in Mumbai, where Salman was joined by Rashmika, director AR Murugadoss, and producer Sajid Nadiadwala. The film was shot over 90 days in various locations, including Mumbai and Hyderabad. Sikandar will feature four songs, three dance numbers, and five major action scenes.
Salman recently released a teaser for the movie, showcasing his action-packed character named Sanjay, also called Sikandar. The teaser gave fans a glimpse of Salman’s massy look and some punchy dialogues like “Kayde mein raho fayde mein rahoge” and “Insaaf nahi hisab karne aaya hun.”
Sikandar* is set to release this Eid, and Salman will also be seen in Kick 2 in the coming months.
