Amritsar: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar to offer prayers as their government completed three years in Punjab.

Mr. Kejriwal arrived in Amritsar after completing a 10-day Vipassana meditation session in Hoshiarpur. He was joined by his wife, Sunita Kejriwal, and AAP leaders, including Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal.

Speaking to the media, Kejriwal said, “On March 16, 2022, Mann saab became the Punjab Chief Minister. Today, we came here to seek blessings. In these three years, we have worked hard to serve the people.” He also mentioned that Punjab’s biggest challenges are drug abuse and corruption, and the government is committed to fighting them.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann stated that the progress made in the last three years was not seen even in the past 70 years. He promised to continue working with honesty to make Punjab prosperous again and to eliminate drugs from the state.

The AAP government came to power in Punjab in 2022 after winning 92 out of 117 assembly seats.
