Pensioners can avail benefits at the District Treasury Office and Sub-Treasury Offices

Fatehgarh Sahib, December 2:

The Punjab government has made the decision to organize a three-day Awareness Fair in order to provide retirees and family pensioners who failed to complete their E-KYC with another chance.

Sharing this information, District Treasury Officer Ashok Kumar remarked that the Awareness Fair held in November received an amazing response from the beneficiaries. In light of this, the District Treasury Office in Fatehgarh Sahib and the Sub-Treasury Offices in Bassi Pathana, Khamano, and Amloh will host an Awareness Fair on December 4, 5, and 6 to introduce the E-KYC procedure.

District Treasury Officer Ashok Kumar claimed that this fair will be advantageous for those retirees who were unable to register themselves on the Pension Seva Portal for any reason. He said that E-KYC is necessary for every pensioner and family pensioner.

Appealing to the pensioners, the District Treasury Officer said that just as it is essential to provide the Life Certificate in banks, registration on this portal will enable provisions for monthly pension accounting, data grievance redressal, succession module, etc. He emphasized that even pensioners who have already given their Life Certificates to the banks but have not yet registered on the Pension Seva Portal must do so.

SAYS MOVE AIMED AT ENSURING SIMPLICITY, SPEED AND TRANSPARENCY IN REGISTRATION OF LAND

ANOTHER UNIQUE INITIATIVE AIMED AT REVENUE REFORMS

Fatehgarh Sahib, November 27-

Bhagwant Singh Mann, the chief minister of Punjab, introduced “Easy Registry,” another groundbreaking program, on Thursday to help people throughout the state.

The Chief Minister greeted everyone who had witnessed the start of this momentous shift that will ensure honest governance and totally eradicate corruption. According to him, property registration has been viewed for many years as a difficult and drawn-out procedure that frequently necessitates frequent trips to Sub-Registrar offices, as well as dealing with delays and corruption. According to Bhagwant Singh Mann, there was an additional load and inconvenience because people had to go to the Sub-Registrar office that corresponded to the location of their property.

But according to the Chief Minister, property registration in Punjab has entered a new era of ease, speed, and openness thanks to the “Easy Registry” system. He added that this is the first time any state in India has made such a step toward streamlining property registration and that the “Easy Registry” method will remove needless delays and inconveniences for citizens. According to Bhagwant Singh Mann, this plan will allow any Sub-Registrar office in a district to register assets anywhere in that district.

According to the Chief Minister, citizens can now prepare sale deeds online or through Sewa Kendras for a little cost of Rs 500. They can also call 1076 to make use of this service as part of the “Sarkar Tuhade Dwaar” plan. He added that the Tehsildar will no longer be able to submit pointless objections to property registrations and that complete online submission of paperwork will be achievable in just 48 hours. According to Bhagwant Singh Mann, there will be a set 48-hour period for this, and any objections will be promptly sent to the relevant Deputy Commissioner, who will determine whether or not the objection is legitimate.

The Chief Minister added that citizens will receive updates via WhatsApp regarding each step of the registration procedure and that they can file a complaint straight through WhatsApp if someone demands a bribe. According to Bhagwant Singh Mann, he is quite proud to announce that Deputy Commissioners will now be in charge of making sure that each property registration is finished without a hitch. He stated that a help desk and a cozy waiting space had been added to the Sub-Registrar Office in Mohali for this reason.

According to the Chief Minister, the Sub-Registrar office that had jurisdiction over the property was the only place where previous registration could be completed. People used to be unaware of the status of their registration or any objections filed, he added, but now WhatsApp alerts would keep them updated at every step, from document submission and approval to payment, objections, and final paper preparation. According to Bhagwant Singh Mann, a 48-hour window has been set aside for voicing objections or confirming papers. He added that this technique will also lower the exorbitant fees related to deed registration.

With the assistance of a Sewa Kendra or Sewa helper, anyone can draft their own registration documents using the “Draft My Deed” function, according to the Chief Minister. According to him, citizens won’t have to visit banks again because there won’t be a requirement to present separate transaction evidence. People will no longer have to repeatedly visit government offices to pick up their registration documents, according to Bhagwant Singh Mann.

According to the Chief Minister, they will receive confirmation via WhatsApp once the registration is finished, guaranteeing that they can pick up their deed in one visit. According to him, the state government is constantly striving to implement more citizen-friendly reforms and enhance the effectiveness of Sewa Kendras and Helpline 1076 in order to reduce the need for citizens to visit offices for work. According to Bhagwant Singh, the goal of this significant administrative reform milestone is to greatly facilitate people’s access to services in a hassle-free and seamless manner.

Fatehgarh Sahib, November 17:

The three-day Pensioner Awareness Service Fair has ended, according to information provided by District Treasury Officer Ashok Kumar. However, the government has maintained this service for the time being for retirees whose e-KYC could not be recorded on the Pension Service Portal for any reason.

According to the District Treasury Officer, any such pensioner can arrange for their e-KYC to be completed on any working day by contacting the closest pension-paying bank, Tehsil Treasury Office, or District Treasury Office.

Every pensioner and family pensioner must complete their e-KYC under the Pensioner Service Portal, according to District Treasury Officer Ashok Kumar.

For the convenience of retirees and their families, the Punjab government has established the Pensioner Service Portal, which allows retirees to upload their Life Certificate from home, according to District Treasury Officer Ashok Kumar. He told us that this platform offers features for grievance redressal, succession module, monthly pension accounting, EPP pension data, and more.

Deputy Commissioner Dr Sona Thind Conducts Surprise Inspection of Special Repair Works on Rural Link Roads

No negligence regarding the quality of construction material will be tolerated:

Dr Sona Thind

Also reviewed the density of premix, load-bearing capacity, and width

Fatehgarh Sahib, November 9:

Today, a surprise inspection of the special repair work being done on several rural connection roads in the district was carried out by Deputy Commissioner Dr Sona Thind and technical specialists.

The DC carefully examined the quality of the building materials being utilised while inspecting several rural link roads in Fatehgarh Sahib, Mandi Gobindgarh, Amloh, and other locations. She gave the government’s executive agencies clear instructions that any compromise on the calibre of development projects would not be accepted.

Along with Additional Deputy Commissioner Arvind Gupta, Executive Engineer (XEN) of the Public Works Department Karan Mittal, and other officials, the Deputy Commissioner clarified that the use of standard material in road construction is required so that these roads can last longer and people can receive continuous, excellent facilities while examining the completed and ongoing special repair works of link roads. She told us that the quality of the work was determined to be satisfactory during the inspection.

According to the Deputy Commissioner, these unexpected inspections will go on in the future to keep an eye on the calibre of the job and the timely completion procedure.

She cautioned that stern measures will be taken against the relevant officials and contractors in accordance with the regulations if any carelessness or poor quality is discovered in the construction work at any site.

According to the Deputy Commissioner, the district administration’s primary goal is to give the district’s residents a robust and long-lasting road network infrastructure so that the connection roads are of standard quality.

According to the DC, link roads are a village’s lifeline, and anyone who attempts to interfere with this right would face severe departmental and judicial repercussions. She continued by saying that she would personally keep an eye on the development and calibre of these projects.

The Deputy Commissioner said that adherence to the rules and guidelines established by the Punjab Mandi Board and the Public Works Department must also be guaranteed. She also went over the required width for road construction, load-bearing capacity, and premix density.
