Protesters in Pokhara, Nepal, started a fire.

Article Body: As the situation in Nepal worsens, 92 pilgrims from Amritsar, Punjab, are left trapped there. Late at night, the gang arrived at the Nepal border amid protests, arson, and curfews. Today’s goal is to get this group to safely cross the border and head back to India.

On September 5, the group arrived in Janakpur Dham after leaving Amritsar on September 3 and crossing the border. After that, on September 6, they travelled to Kathmandu before continuing on to Pokhara. On September 8, when the pilgrims’ schedule was proceeding as planned, the situation in Nepal abruptly began to deteriorate. After this, the group continuously travelled. It was dark when the gang travelled.

The gang chose to travel at night for their own protection after realizing how bad things were in Nepal. All of them have been in Pokhara since September 9, according to a video released by Rinku Batwal. The streets were under curfew and had a hostile mood. Bicycle protests by young people were observed. All around the hotel, smoke rose from burning buildings.

On the night of September 9–10, they departed for the Nepal border when the authorities enforced a curfew in the area.

At the Bhairahwa border, wait.
On September 10, the group arrived at the Bhairahwa border between India and Nepal after a night of travel. The police and security forces are currently keeping an eye on the situation, and the travelers have been stopped here. Members of the group claim that they will stop at nothing to safely return to India. The gang hopes to obtain permission to attempt entry into India today.

The border between India and Nepal is now more secure.
Indian security forces have stepped up border patrols in response to the escalating violence in Nepal. Strict checks are being made on anyone entering and leaving the border. Movement has also been temporarily prohibited in a number of locations due to the worsening circumstances.

The political situation in Nepal is extremely unstable as of September 9, 2025. In the midst of huge and violent “Gen Z” protests, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has apparently resigned. This is a synopsis of the most recent news.

Violence and Protests: Originally sparked by a government ban on a number of social media sites for violating local registration laws, the protests have grown into a larger movement against economic inequality and government corruption. At least 19 individuals have reportedly been killed in skirmishes with police as a result of the demonstrations turning violent.

PM Oli’s Resignation: Prime Minister Oli has submitted his resignation in response to the escalation of protests and the resignation of several important ministries, including the Home Minister. Demonstrators also allegedly set fire to his private home.

Government Reaction: The government has implemented a curfew in many areas of Kathmandu and relaxed the social media ban in reaction to the turmoil. In order to evaluate the situation and find a peaceful solution, Oli has also asked for an all-party meeting

Observing the Future: A major change in Nepal’s political landscape is anticipated with the election of a new prime minister. The resignation coincides with rising public indignation about alleged police brutality, nepotism, and corruption, especially among young people.
